Christian Ministries to Backpackers aim to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with young travelers. This type of ministry often expresses Christian love and care in both words and deeds.

Youth Hostel Ministry, Amsterdam (Netherlands)

The Shelter Christian Youth Hostels in Amsterdam provide many ministry opportunities. 30,000 guests a year, means 30,000 chances to share the love of Christ.
The international ministry team consists of Christians between 18 - 30 years of age working in the two Shelter hostels. Connected are a staff living community as well as a Ministry Training Program.

Various organizations minister to travelers on the pilgrims route to Santiago de Compostela (Spain). One of them is Oasis Trails, based in the Netherlands.
